http://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/spor...ws/brentford-star-pleads-hull-target-9824385? Good keeper for Brentford as well
Essential Brentford @BrentEssential BREAKING | Our source is telling us that Gray is on the verge of a £7mill deal to Hull City, with £2m in add-ons. Might finally be done?
The claims of him signing on Monday (today) might be true? Unless that source saw the claim on here and is running with it
If we get promoted, I don't think anybody would mind the add ons (one of them probably accounts for promotion). Fingers crossed this deal goes through.
"Chairman Assem Allam pulled out of a deal last week." Hmm. I suspect that's a bit bollocks, it's Ehab that handles transfers isn't it?
"Essential Brentford @BrentEssential 33m33 minutes ago BREAKING | Our source is telling us that Gray is on the verge of a £7mill deal to Hull City, with £2m in add-ons" Is "our source" the Brentford version of "our kid"? Can be read either way: 7 million including add-ons or 7 million + 2 million add-ons.
You're probably right. We are northern and, to a man, would probably baulk at paying £2m more than the price.
I know exactly what to do with and what to say to a player determined to leave. 1. Go and put yourself in the shop window as the club will not stand in your way, 2. Emphasise that no-one will come in for a player who can't be arsed! 3. If performances don't improve, you're in with the reserves- why waste time carrying a player and donating them appearance bonuses.
Couple of thoughts: I would expect that Jelavic will leave if his medical goes well. N'Doye is gone as far as I can see. Abel could well stay as the teams linked to him are skint; in truth I think he is the best one to stay anyway. Hudds will probably go and I will not lose sleep. The key is in Bruce being ready with his replacement business. Keeping the window open beyond the first kick-off is simply ****e for all concerned.
RE: Peter Crouch. Am fairly sure there's nothing in this but just in case (his name is being thrown around other clubs at the moment). Yesterday the Mirror transfer column posted this... no article or further detail and it was probably just an excuse to use the headline but you never know.
