I just mean I don't beleive you lend a car out and then drive another and never notice your 125k car is crashed in london.

FFS even a plate check by cops would identify it to them and have them onto the guy.

    ergo i don't believe it.

Are you seriously happy with Skrtel's performance?

No doubt if Sakho had lost his man or made those dodgy passes, you would have had a go. <ok>

Well he didn't have his best game (hence why I said "he didn't have his best game") but am I happy with a clean sheet and a win at one of the toughest away trips of the season....damn right I am :) I'd reverse the question and ask you...."was he SO bad that you have to mention him in almost everyone of your post match comments?". Well he wasn't was he JS, you just have a bizarre agenda that you want to be seen to be right all the time. Skrtel's performance was far from great but hardly worth the constant barbs and criticism.

Ask yourself whether it's me who is blinded by bias or yourself mate?

As for Sakho...I'd say exactly the same. If he doesn't play well and we keep a clean sheet I couldn't care less as long as he doesn't consistently underperform (which Skrtel doesn't) and let's not forget something here, Sakho did start last time we played Stoke and we shipped 6 <whistle> #justsaying

So by that logic, because we won, we should be happy and everyone is perfect and we don't need to change anything?

And yes - Skrtel was very bad. Just because we didn't concede doesn't mean that we should mask poor performers.

We scored a goal and won but that doesn;t mean Lallana was crucial to our win.

I agree about clyne and Lorvren (although I, not convinced and they didn't really trouble us much) however with Ibe he is currently trying to do too much. In situations yesterday a give and go would be better than dribbling past 3 players. He will develop into a great player, but at the moment he is still raw.

Great start, 3 points away at Stoke. No messing up now at home v Bournemouth.

Most of the team looked a bit raw, Skrtel wasn't any worse than the others, no real problems with anyone at this point. They are all Liverpool player at the start of the new season I'm willing to let anyone show me they deserve the shirt.

Yes because that is what exactly what I said eh Jimmy <doh>

However Skrtel plays you'll still pick fault with his performance and that will always be the case with you (we get it...you don't like him). I've only glanced through the match thread but at least 3 times in your post-match comments you felt the need to bring up his performance which given the fact we kept a clean sheet tells it's own story.
Did he play particularly well? No, I doubt any of us would say he did. Did he have an absolute shocker or cost us points? No, obviously he didn't. So why feel the need to harp on about him? You do realise he WILL be playing the majority of the season don't you? Your constant sniping won't see Rodgers suddenly spring into action and buy us a world class centre back...nor will it see Ilori suddenly brought in to the team <ok> Skrtel will be there regardless so you better hope you're wrong about how awful he is.

My own assessment would be that we lacked a lot more in an attacking sense yesterday than we lacked defensively. Rarely threatened yet rarely threatening would be fair to say. A typically rusty first game from both teams where not one player played particularly well, but a few were marginally better than the rest. The sort of game where you just take three points and run with it and worry not one iota what the performance was like.

  18. No, you're entitled to pick fault but you have to realise that when you choose to criticise a player you've been moaning about for three years or more, it would hold much weight <laugh>
