I think if you take a neutral point of view - if that's not way beyond you, that Connor Wickham is the 'disgrace'.
Can't say it was a clear goalscoring chance for Bassong but a thunderous shove in the back "would have been penalised anywhere else on the pitch" to quote Alan Pardew, so why no penalty?

I'm really upset that there has been no notification of his punishment! Relegated to schoolboy football for the next twenty years would be acceptable, though not, I guess, by schoolboys!

 

He might even be more "lenient" if schoolboys are involved
