Strengthened in every department except the one everyone knows is weak
1 month to sort it out, the pre season stats don't lie, we are leaking goals like a sieve
We are in for a serious tonking if this defence isn't sorted

I’ve tempered my homicidal rage over injury time with the thought that I’d probably have taken a point at 15:00 today.

I'd have taken a point all day long before the game but 2 goals in stoppage time is absolutely unacceptable. The fact the second is yet another goal from a corner conceded ( numerous last season ) is really annoying. For a Mick side, we're soooo weak at defending set pieces. Really need to cut this out now, conceded far too many last season.

Sounded by all accounts a good performance otherwise - more on the deck. We have pace / wingers which will give us a far better balance this season, and will pick up all sorts of points on the road/ hammer some at home.

Also, since when did we have a bench that good? Last season we had a good 11/possibly 13 but this season we had a squad. Bishop/ Berra / Parr weren't even in the squad today, and whether people like Tabb or not nor was he - so that's 21 players Mick has faith in. Been a while hasn't it. We'll get a defender in between now and August 31. Hopefully Bru's injury isn't too bad / Bishop is back soon.

Also, for once I'm quite looking forward to our cup tie Tuesday ( not that I'm going ) in that we can rotate and probably win! Coke/ Traore/ Pitman / Douglas will all get their chance to impress.

This is the best squad ( IMO ) for quite some time, we'll be up there. COYB.
