Excellent thread as usual ....... off to Leicester at 9am on the train from Nottingham. Can't wait and I'll say our match will be one of those first day crazy results, 3-0 Haway the Lads!!!!!
Was tempted to go sit in one of the home stands for this match, alas it is a sell out. All the best to everyone who is going.
Yeah just don't think he's had enough game time mate, him and Coates looked sooo good against Hannover but I just think he will go for oshea imo, hope I'm wrong like.
A few people have said to me we will win 0-3. We either have fans who are completely insane or can compete with mystic meg. I hope it is the latter
Our match day squad is Johnson, Lens, Bridcutt, Giaccherini, PVA, Matthews, Rodwell, Coates, Larsson, JOS, Vito, Jones, Graham, Fletcher, Kaboul, Pants , Defoe, Cattermole
I'd imagine JOS will come on for jaboul due to fitness maybe? Leicester have a very attacking line up
Sunderland (4-3-3):Costel Pantilimon, Patrick Van Aanholt, Billy Jones, Sebastian Coates, Jounes Kaboul, Lee Cattermole (c), Seb Larsson, Jack Rodwell, Adam Johnson, Jeremain Lens, Jermain Defoe. Subs:Vito Mannone, Adam Matthews, John O’Shea, Liam Bridcutt, Emanuele Giaccherini, Danny Graham, Steven Fletcher. Leicester City (4-3-3): Kasper Schmeichel, Wes Morgan, Ritchie De Laet, Robert Huth, Andy King, Mark Albrighton, Jeffrey Schlupp, Danny Drinkwater, Riyad Mahrez, Shinji Okazaki, Jamie Vardy. Subs: Mark Schwarzer, Dean Hammond, Christian Fuchs, Yohan Benalouane, N’Golo Kante, Andrej Kramaric, Leonardo Ulloa.
I'm not sure if we're playing 4 at the back or not. Our lineup has made me nervous. You should easily overrun King and Drinkwater in the midfield. And De Laet at RB is interesting... He's rapid, I assume he's there to counter Lens?
De laet is quick, but can get caught out quite easily from the few years I've watched Leicester (local club) Albrighton and schullp have been playing wing backs haven't they? Surprised ulloa hadn't started, has he got a knock?
Yeh he's quick, but he's not very good Yeah Albrighton and Schlupp have been playing wing backs, which means that De Laet is likely playing as our right sided CB. Ulloa hasn't been up to much pre-season, but still expected him to start.
