Couple of poor passes in midfield from Bentaleb so far, come not to expect that from him. This team was looking really good before that though, hopefully we can get back into it despite Utd getting a few dodgy decisions already.
Got to be careful you don't just implode here. Players need to keep their patience. United's giddiness will wear off

Bentaleb's stopped coming for the ball. No simple ball from defense and it's stopping us from getting possession. Same old Spurs look too good for the other team so gift them an easy goal. We are good sports, aren't we?

Yep, doesn't look like too much has changed. Possibly we look a little tighter at the back, but still the same old problems, the same old mistakes. Utd seem quite happy to let us come at them in the expectation that we'll give the ball away and leave ourselves open.
We are an above average team ... a lack of consistency and top players stops us being any better or worse. I think we all knew what to expect today so its no great surprise.
It's really annoying that simple sloppiness is costing us so badly. A lack of awareness and some very easy passes being misplaced has set us back miles, when we looked very comfortable. The players' heads went down a fair bit after the goal too, which isn't good to see.
Immensely frustrating half. We're behind because of our own deficiencies don't get me wrong, Bentaleb and Dier are getting caught way too much and mis-use the ball. But when the ref is blowing up for every little incident in the middle of the park it disrupts the rhythm of the game that we're trying to build and that is having an effect, not to mention the offside call on Dembele at 0-0. There's joy in this match for us if we can replicate the first 20 mins performance and cut out some of the sloppy midfield play. I like how we set up with Dier almost forming a back 3 when we're in possession, and Dembele is looking quite good if a little slow to react when we lose the ball sometimes.
Our good players get frustrated by the mediocrity around them or simply get their heads turned and leave...top established players will not join us unless we have CL football and or mega money so this is where we are stuck...with an above average team who will lose their very good players and continue to be inconsistent and frustrating to watch
He's not blowing up for every little incident, Huddlefro. He's blowing up for every little incident by us. Utd players are holding and pulling all over the shop and he's not calling it. Very easily influenced by the crowd, in my opinion. We need to cause the keeper some problems, as he looks pretty dodgy. Messing up easy kicks and he looks nervous as hell. We've barely crossed the ball and had very few shots.
