I think people need to chill out, Coates has said there is money for a CB, also it was Shawcross who didnt want the operation when he should have. If he had had his op at the start of the closed season he would be almost back now. Im not sure if Nicky is serious about the Hughes out thing or not. If he is then he needs putting in a padded cell lol, and hes actually defending Pulis negativity by having so many CBs of which a few years ago he had many a tantrum, and its not just Nicky getting carried away on here. Congrats on the degree Nick. I don't know how it will go tomorrow, it looks like we have signed some decent players but until we see how they perform together when it matters who can tell. I am concerned about Shawcross and having your best defender out for the first 2 months of the season isn't the best way to start the new campaign but I think we will have to wait and see where we are after 10 or so games before we can come to any conclusions, I think for myself I have a few pre season nerves.
