Hardly been opened for them really has it - perhaps a slight breeze. Money dried up until Kane goes in January? Discuss.
I fully expect this thread to be wum-free. Looking at the Spurs squad on paper, I really don't see why they can't be caught by one of Southampton, Stoke, Palace or Swansea.
Are you getting me mixed up with Rodgers @PleaseNotPoll ? I'm just a keyboard warrior, and my name isn't Brendan.
Must be your obscured view from The Championship. Levy's going to sign about 10 players on the last day. He's signed a deal with Sky to keep deadline day interesting.
I didn't mention Man Utd. I was thinking he'd step up to a club like Watford. I don't read The Scum, btw.
Said it on another thread, but if Stoke, Swansea and Southampton can push on from last season. Then I think they'll challenge Spurs for those places in around 5th, 6th and 7th.
Given Brenda's propensity for ****ing everything up, including his signings, I see no reason the mousers can't be caught by Watford.
There's still 3+ weeks of the transfer window to go. Knowing Levy, I'm sure we'll end up with some last minute 'bargain'. Mind you, if he can find another last minute VDV, I might take back some of my criticism of him.
If you sell Kane in the next 3 weeks, then who knows ? He might have another £40m to spunk up the wall
I don't think he will either to be honest. But if LVG came sniffing with a £40m offer, you'd be mad not to bite his hand off. Kane is a decent player, but he's only had 1 season, this year will be a big test to see if he can recreate that. Also, he's going to be a marked man and defenders will try to nullify his threat.
