Just a question about the scoring, does anybody think that I should extend assists to Defenders as well as Midfielders? Maybe it would bring assists more into play and consequently lead to more tactical team selections.
Yes, I was hoping you'd do that. Assists from forwards as well please: i.e. assists from any player (including GK)!

Yeah, really sorry mate, the way the fixtures work I had to set a limit of 18 teams, any more than that and the league wouldn't work.
I think that the Forwards are going to score their fair share of points, I want to make it so managers have to make a tactical decision whether to have an extra Midfielder or not. My decision is that assists by Defenders and Midfielders count and that every two assists that the team score is a goal for your team. The rules at the start of this thread have been amended.
