You might want to think twice about that ellewoods http://www.192.com/atoz/business/hu...ecedbedc99f5d486d89495cf2c8d879a2199e0b/comp/
I love the way some people have decided the board suddenly are clueless about transfers!!! This same board brought in huddlestone, livermore, ben arfa, rameriez and the like, very very good deals (despite how they played). Same board also saw the sales of long, ince, chester and brady at market value or better rather then get hammered by other boards. I have no doubts those overly criticalof the boards transfer dealings have negotiated many million pounds worth of complex business deals.
You don't know that, unless you know all the clauses, wages, instalments...etc you have no idea how good the deals were, your just saying they did well to bring in big names.
Some of you should try and find a job for the club, the amount of time spent on here posting messages about if 21 year old boys are going to sign for your team is a bit worrysome. If they sign they will sign, if they don't. Who cares!!!!
I think he'll be fine. His injury record was fime before last season wasn't it? He just desperately wanted to play before he was fully fit every time and we kept letting him, which was a gamble that backfired. I think he's fit now and the injury is behind him. It's the kind of player he is, which is why it'll be a good thing if we can keep him.
Torino bid for Hernandez? Torino have reportedly made a fresh approach for Hull City striker Abel Hernandez and are monitoring Danubio defender Fabricio Formiliano. Tuttosport believe that the Granata made an offer to Hull yesterday and are now awaiting a response. Although no figures have been quoted, the paper believes that the deal is likely to be for a loan with compulsory purchase clause. It is also believed that the Tigers will not want to make a heavy loss on the €12m they spent on the Uruguayan a year ago. Toro are also believed to be preparing a bid for centre-back Formiliano according to Tuttosport, and the 22-year-old could cost around €3m. http://www.football-italia.net/70637/torino-bid-hernandez?
Bit pointless if they are offering a loan again, seen as we have consistently said we're only interested in getting rid on a perm now.
If we keep the current squad plus gray and obudaju or however its spelt. We'll be a really strong contender to win the championship.
I can see us going for this. Although it's a loan strictly speaking it isn't and a compulsory loan is just a way of Toro spreading the costs to next year to comply with FFP. With this being in the Torino based sports daily if say their sources will be tight.
with Steve (cant get the ball outta our own half) Bruce? yeah we're more likely to be playing Rochdale than Chelsea next season
