Depends which one you want, mine is terrible but it does the job for what I want it to do. £40-£100 but they can go to more than that, they usually come fully loaded, kodi etc installed, I would probably factory reset if I got a new one, as you don't need half the crap that will be on there.
So the cheaper ones will still do the job, is it hard to set them up or just a matter of sitting dowloading apps?
Its easy to set up, just Google/YouTube superrepo and just follow the vids, iptv stalker is a little harder and icefilms you need to change the url as sky blocks the default one. But you can put it on your laptop, ive even had it on my kindle, so you don't need a super duper pc to run it. Might be worth installing it on your laptop, play around with it, then when you do get a box, it won't be as frustrating.
Just halved my BT bill today by doing the same as with Sky, to be fair I was not paying much to begin with but its a good tactic.
Thanks, there are a couple I will try, hopefully will be all done and dusted ready for 3 O,Clock saturday. Thanks again.
Just try this site and all is explained in video, it is Idiot proof (I know as I didn't understand it all but it worked first time) Paid £40 for the box off eBay and reset it. http://www.scoop.it/t/xbmc-by-d-500
I done the total installer the 1st time, after 10 minutes I hated it, far too much crap I will never use, factory reset and installed what I wanted individually.
Ok I know I'm a technophobe but I have spent hours installing Kodi and for some reason I cannot get any sports channels to play. Great for movies but I was hoping for live footy tomorrow. Any experts out there?
Install sportsdevil Live sports First row (either of them) vipbox. Football Will have matches on now or in the near future. When it starts select one and pick a link, some will work, some wont. If you want sky sports 1-5, Fox sports, ESPN etc etc, then your best bet is iptv stalker with the ivue epg add on, will be a lot easier to YouTube it to get it working.
