London club mafia....all up each others arses trying to keep a cartel of the best players down South.
It is the second time that Fer has failed a medical, with Everton pulling out of a deal when he was at FC Twente in January 2013. Fer failed his previous medical after Everton staff found a problem with his knee, but the Holland international went on to sign for Norwich City before moving to Loftus Road. Fer missed two months of last season with a knee ligament injury picked up in the Hoops’ 2-0 win at Sunderland in February. Sunderland were expected to unveil both Fer and Yann M’Vila on Wednesday but while the Fer deal is off, the Black Cats are still in negotiations with the French midfielder and his parent club Rubin Kazan. The club have been credited with an interest in Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj, but a formal bid has not been made. United would look favourably on sending Januzaj toWearside as Sunderland have looked after the likes of Jonny Evans and Danny Welbeck on similar deals. However, any movement on the player depends on United’s transfer dealings, with Angel Di Maria expected to make his move to Paris St Germain while the club are reportedly interested in Barcelona forward Pedro.
****ing frustrating, that's what it is. If he failed his medical, fair enough. But we should also know he failed his medical at Everton and went on to play plenty of games for Norwich and QPR in the middle of the park without too much bother. You think they'd have worked this out in advance, no? Bollocks. Disappointed.
He's never played more than 30 games in a season since he moved to England apparently due to his dodgey knees. Beats Rodwells 10 games a season though.
This is becoming a trend. We will know if he ends up elsewhere that it was false. Not too happy after raised expectations
Sitting here all day waiting for the photo of him with a cheesy grin holding up a red and white scarf......then this!?? AAAAARRRGGHHH!!!!
Well if he hasn't failed a medical and we have in fact been gazumped I'm sure we will find out soon enough.
Apparently it's not the case of him failing the medical, more a case of weighing up an expensive loan deal against likely hood of injury. Scans must have shown scaring or something.
Lens with Fers head ehh? Why do these photoshopers never really stop to think about tattoos please log in to view this image
I'm wondering if we have a plan B instantly lined up (a la Kaboul). If not then do you not think that he might have been worth the risk rather than having to start again by looking elsewhere?
What a load of ****. This might have been on the cards which is why were interested in Jan from Man Utd. I still want Pato someone get him on a plane and get him over here. Phil Vickery was on talk sport today saying Pato has refound his form and is playing well.
