Just for the sake of it .................... in the Roscommon bumper Willie's Avichi is a right old dodgepot and I like the look (on breeding at least) of First Commander, by High Chapparal out of a mare who has sired a listed winner on the flat. Bet 365 go 20/1 which seems a nice price for an e/w poke.
BEAU ET SUBLIME 6.10 Roscommon 2/1 Currently 2/1 with B365, shorter elsewhere. This won't come off the bridle.
Cork 7.00 Eshera 2/1 with B365 looks extremely generous to me. Lto over this distance led from start; had them all stretched with 2 to go and strolled home by 7½l in a good time, easing up. Carries 3lb less tomorrow and should be too good for the colts
TV gold on BBC. Britain at the Bookies. Head of Corals just at the dogs and picks Number 4. Trips over itself after 20 yards and does a lovely triple somersault.......
Shame Willy Hills won't have this priced up till 10am. That's the only problem with Irish racing - hills won't have the odds till mid morning.
Watching it myself fusion.Wonder if we will see any of the forum members on it!love to see Sir Barney pop up with his pipe and mocular!
Salisbury 2.00 Dal Harraild will obviously be all the rage but I can't overlook the beautifully bred Cliffs Of Dover at 12/1
I've been religiously betting on every De Sousa ride for the last 14 days. Yes - some days I've lost but other days I've won. 16-1 winners like on Monday certainly helps but this is a guy going for the jockey title and I'm currently hundreds of pounds up so just wanted to share.
I see that Andre Atzeni goes to Deauville for one ride-Mr Owen in the 1 50 Listed race -then jets (presumably) back for his book of rides this eve in chelmsford-it is for his retained owners, but the horse has been running in group 1 races and drops for this.....
735 Ripon Lexington Place 6/1 Mrs Chapman has a runner in the David Chapman memorial...... With Ruth Carr knowing how to get one refreshed and ready i can see this going very very close!!!
Also Time after Time, which she wrote. Right Redgull, she had the hit with Drove All Night which was written for Orbison but not released until after his death and her version. Always thought her much more talented than Madonna, another example of yanks not getting it. Unlikely to beat the favourite but fancy Cliffs of Dover E-W in the first at Salisbury.
