Bit random...Unless he holds a European passport, can't see him getting a work permit. Doesn't look like he's had an amazing career to date either...but as you said, in Brendan we trust

Looked at work permit rules lately and you need to be an international and have played 70% of the last international games or so, so this looks unlikely.

I don't think they'd be giving him a trial if there wasn't any possibility of him being allowed to play here.

Maybe he's just training with us...he's currently without a club and perhaps he knows someone in the club and is just keeping fit. You hear of that sort of thing from time to time...I have to say I don't actually believe he's here at all...sorry alswan

He is trainign with the Swans (it's on the official site), as well as a German keeper named Stuckmann who's played second division in Germany.

Not fussed with either tbh but they might be good signings. History shows how few trialists get a deal though.

Training with us isn't the same as having a trial with us.

Both expected to play a part in the friendlies this weekend
As for the work permit issues, lots of problems can be solved by a Brazilian carrying a Portugese passport
    Who knows...?

The keeper mentioned above is Thorsten Stuckmann born March 17, 1981
6'6 tall and played 2nd div in Germany
As stated earlier very few trials lead to deals but he will be playing tomorrow

We'll just have to see, Brendan wouldn't take anyone on trial if he didn't believe they were good enough or that they could get a work permit!

We've taken all sorts on trial before (even had Kuqi's brother at one point), most of them simply don't impress enough but sometimes it's actually useful having the extra bodies in training anyway, the extra keeper especially mean they can run two small sides games side by side with Moreira, Yves, Dai and this guy. Sometimes they can impress though.

The Brazilian guy needs a passport/work permit to actually play in a firendly I believe so if he does appear that answers that question.

    Yankee

From what I've read Yves has yet to be offered a contract but I believe he is still with the squad
Not sure when his contract runs out or if it already has

Ok then, to clarify both Stuckmann and Radames are on trial with us and are in the separate squads for the two friendlies tomorrow at Neath and Port Talbot.

As said though, I don't think either will be signed as they just don't seem at a Premiership level. we'll see what they do tomorrow though, eh? :1980_boogie_down:
