Ranieri at Leicester looks like a disaster waiting to happen to me.

I agree with him on that score. I mean, he didn't kill anyone like Lee Hughes did.
I don't understand 'deviant', though? Fairly insightful pundit, if you can tolerate the Brummy accent <yikes>

He was caught "dogging" in a Cannock Chase car-park! I agree about Lee Hughes but he didn't set out to kill someone, Collymore's attack on Ulrika was disgusting and cowardly!

I don't like him, can you guess? <laugh>

I'm guessing he's still with that obnoxious TalkSport station? In which case, I don't suffer the musical Brummy dulcet tones - as I don't listen to it. Too much anti NCFC and ****-stirring from the likes of Durham, etc.

    Pah!

It almost never happens that the 3 teams who came up go back down. I agree all three will be in the mix but that's the nature of things. Leicester, Villa and Sunderland all look fairly precious.

To be fair to Collymore he did give a very reasonable explanation for us to go down in that we have signed few players. Particularly in important areas as central defence an attack.

It was the unsubstantiated contradiction with Watford that amused me in this case Carrabuh, rather than the validity of the analysis.

For me the key is the transfers this summer are incremental improvements in all areas. Our 12/13 squad was good enough for mid-table Premier League, but we then shipped out a strikeforce that had worked (somewhat), in return for complete unknowns. Holt, Jackson and Vaughan were replaced with RvW, Hooper and Elmander. We went into the new season with nobody we knew would work within the existing framework.

This season, we at least know Jerome and Grabban can function with our team and create chances. It's fair to question whether they will create and finish enough chances, but our midfield can play well with those strikers. It's also not like Jerome and Grabban are on the decline as Holt could be argued to have been in 12/13.

This season we aren't reliant on new signings for our team to function. If Mbokani signs and is a flop, it's not the same as with RvW as we've adept strikers waiting in the wings who are known quantities.

After watching the last two warm up games I must admit to being a little disappointed with us.

I don't see Grabban as being good enough on his own in attack. Hooper is a fat bastard and should be tied to a treadmill for 2 weeks, very unprofessional.

Jerome looks OK for 8-10 goals which is plenty enough for us as long as the midfield chip in with the majority.

Defence has looked poor in both games and is a big worry and Bassong doesn't look sharp either. Whittiker, quite frankly terrible at one on ones. Despite a good season gone, I do not see him as a good enough defender. I hope they get there act together when it matters and with the new right back it probably will.

Midfield does look very strong, it looks like it can pin defences back. No concerns there.

I'm never comfortable when Whits is being taken on. Every so often he throws in a good challenge but usually he just looks lost. Against Brentford, that ball in behind him that led to the shot off the post was pretty predictable and, while very well executed, Whits should have been either cutting across it or tracking his man, instead he stumbled, then almost got knocked over. That happens far too often for me and has always been my biggest issue with Whittaker.

Wisdom looks a bit more solid, though he also gotten beaten pretty easily in his cameo.

I disagree, if you sit and actually listen to him properly.........

.....he's even worse. He actually tries to sound like he's clever (with those God awful stop start quick slow sentences) and has this awe inspiring point to make. Everyone else has lost interest by the time he gets to it, and those that do muster some interest for this laboured point realise its something not even relevant.

Garter Crooks must be a comedy character, he can't genuinely be like that in real life, can he?

Murphy has often got a bit of stick as a pundit, but I've always found that he is fairly thoughtful and prepared to say something that goes against the usual mantra (and I'm not just saying that because of his comments here...)

It's almost impressive how many mistakes they've squeezed into one article: http://outside90.com/norwich-city-team-preview233/?

Who knew Hooper was pacy? Andreu a midfield enforcer? Or that we played a standard 4-4-2 last season?
Pleasingly, our wealth of striking talent are guaranteed to score goals.

That article is extraordinary. It must be computer generated with a dollop of misplaced compliments.
