18 years today since AFC AJax came for the opening game at the SOL.

Also some clowns called Status quo.

    Best game/worst game?

    High point/low point.

Cant say best game off the top of my head but last year v Hull was probably the one if not the worst I can remember.
Only game I left early and that was after the 3rd went in, fortunately I wasn't at the Villa game later in the year.

Low point was Villa last season. Thought we'd seen the last of that sort of capitulation. Narrow second was losing 3-2 to Spurs after being 2-0 up in one of our many relegation seasons.

High point definitely being 4-0 up against Chelsea at half time :) Second was Kieron Richardson's free kick against the mags.

Low point, 1996/97 season last game of the season at Selhurt Park. Relegated last game to Wimbledon.

High point, the whole of the promotion Season after the Drumaville take over, **** me we looked outstanding that season. Some of the goals were out of this world.

The Chelsea game 4-1 for me, the best I had ever seen Sunderland play. Worst home performance too many, but Villa last season, most dramatic game vs Crystal palace 2004 play off semi 2nd leg. Also best goal Defoe vs the mags last season as I only seen it 150 times since !

Night match against the spuds...I had 10 quid on 3-1 Quinny to score first 33/1. Boys did the business, I reckon half the crowd had punted on the same bet, the queues at Ladbrooks were huge,,,they ran out of money to pay out, had to pick mine up next day. Some very happy people that night.
