I am off to goowood as i do every year on the Friday, In the last 2 years i have backed Moviesta won the King george satkes in 2013 and finished 3rd last year so likes the track and i fancy it to do the job again odds 7/1 with bet 365

If anyone can point me in the right direction for the other races then i will be sure to have a few drinks for you.

Significant Move gets a professional jockey and much less weight to lug around at Bangor (finally) and it will be interesting to see if this is the combo to get the win. I'm not a big fan of Will Kennedy but he's certainly more race savvy than Chris Ward so I'd imagine if they can get a win out of this fairly recalcitrant ride, Kennedy is the more likely to coax it out of him.

He's Our Man runs in the 6.50. It's one of my tracker horses and at 25/1 I'm happy to back it for a few quid each way down in trip. Looked to be coasting lto but either didn't stay or (hopefully) they were playing a game to capitalise on a lovely mark here. We'll find out tomorrow. I don't like taking Clondaw Warrior on but I'be been waiting for this horse so will be going against my instinct.

Galway 6.15 Usuel Smurfer NB.Been waiting a few months for this lad to run for a while as my mate was given a good word for it from the 'sharks mouth' when he bumped into him at a festivel.Id normally take a trainers tip with a pinch of salt but this lad does look laid out for this and is a tasty Ew bet.Of course dangers everywhere in such a competative race so small stakes.I took 20s this morning but expect this price to shorten come race time.

Forget whether it is soft or firm in Sussex... Forget those slow plodders over at Galway...
Here is the big inside job for which you have all been waiting:

Clairefontaine 14:20 BST – Prix Des Paquerettes a reclamer (1400m)
No. 1 Toomuch Tosay (trained by David Windrif, ridden by rising star Vincent Cheminaud)

    Friday fancies:

6.15 Galway ROGUE ANGEL 20/1 (NB)

Always get the impression there is a bit more to come when this fella gets it together and his Galway form reads 12 from just the two runs. The Mullins claim will really help and he looks very nicely treated if putting his best foot forward.

    2.00 Goodwood CONNECTICUT 3/1

Think The Corsican is massively flattered on his Prince Of Wales run- they finished in a heap in behind the front 3. Connecticut was most impressive when reappearing and he can take a Group race now for the in-form Luca Cumani.

    2.35 Goodwood MALIBAR 10/1 e/w

Really excited by Convey for Sir Michael Stoute and he will be smart. I just wonder if race fitness might just get the edge on him here. Malabar has been luckless in really top class company with the girls and can shock the boys at rewarding odds.

4.20 Goodwood BELVOIR BAY 8/1 (NAP)

Progressing nicely, drawn on the wrong side in the Super Sprint and that form may well have truly been franked had Lathom not had a luckless passage earlier this week. Off a mark of 84, I'm convinced Belvoir Bay has upto a stone in hand as she is well on the way to Listed/lower Group level in my opinion.

One horse tomorrow and this one could be very smart

    Goodwood
    5.30 Tashaar 9-2

This horse could be seriously smart and a rating of 90 could underestimate him. His only win was in an ordinary maiden but he could not have been more impressive winning by 4 1/2 lengths. He carries top weight but I would expect him to end up at the top end of handicaps rather than the class 3 he contends tomorrow and quite possibly a listed of Group performer.

This is going to sound ridiculous but all week I've had a this horse in my head, don't have a clue why and didn't even know it was running but spookily it runs today and even more spookily is that Dean now trains it that i didn't know. 3.45 goodwood - Caspian Prince 33/1, shouldn't possibly win but it's just been in my head all week for some reason

Definitely worth a few of your finest pounds on it! If it wins or places you'd only be kicking yourself!

I think you need to have been around here a little while to understand the joke in the name of the horse. I expect it to be a short-priced favourite. If they printed out declarations for virtual races at Frankel Park, I could have picked something there instead of a claiming race at a provincial French track in Normandy.
