As i was away when we played in europe, i just wondered if the bbc had reporters and live text feed on their website when we played in the competition?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/football/28935989?live_variant=nonjs&lx-vivo=on&refresh=1#lts-top It doesn't look like they bothered with the other three games.
Bbc and ITV had news crews at both aways. No idea about live text/stats but that's sourced from elsewhere anyway, press association I think, which all these websites use.
Looks like West Ham are going to continue our tradition of playing the second XI and not make it through to the group stages.
Its not even their second XI, the squad numbers on the bench are in the 60's. I think if clubs aren't going to take it seriously then they should just forfeit their place and let a club that appreciates it have the opportunity, they are after all representing our country in a European competition.
European football just seems to be an excuse for foreign nations to jump on our history of hooliganism and call us out on it. 53 arrests in Arnheim (50 Dutch, 3 English)
