I sincerely hope not as he has messed up most of what he touches from us to Millwall to Fulham etc. Just he seems to be about a lot of late and now he is at Villa, I am wondering if he is trying to work his way into the job in his usual, slimy way. Hope I am wrong but just an inkling I have.
No chance. Hasn't got the pedigree at club management level. He wouldn't even be a serious candidate for the Republic of Ireland job when it becomes available. What about Roy Keane as the next England manager?
I recon England should go for a younger manager with modern ideas. Not an old git who's had a dodgy record. But I suspect that these matters are often not down to football reasons but down to money and backhanders. Sceptical, I know.
Why do people find it ok to refer to him as Woy.? not having a go but it is rare to see hi referred to as Roy.
Wilkins is good No.2 to a good manager, worked superbly with Ancelotti for the Scum and could be a good No.2 to Sherwood but he's a crap manager whenever he's had the chance...
Sorry, have I missed something? I cant find anything online about Roy not being England manager anymore or Ray being linked with the job?
