I'd have to say that although unhappy at losing Chezzy I'd be reasonably happy to receive £8m for him, it could be a lot worse, as long as some ****er in the building can bring some good young talent in. What's Nigel Pearson and Craig Shakespeare doing nowadays?

There available. Want them back?[/QUOTE] In the back room yes, scouting and bringing in new talent. I'd have them as manager and assistant if Pearson wasn't such a ****ing loose cannon!
Chester was playing at RB the majority of the time he started for us as we always had another pairing. He has shown glimpses of brilliance but the majority of the time he has been solid. I think getting 8M for him in his last year is great business especially as he would have probably started at RB this season out of position as we have other players who can play there anyway. Solid player but definitely over rated.
We should replace James Chester with Liam Moore from Leicester, he's only 22 and did well for Leicester in their promotion season I seem to remember. Was sent out on loan last season for a few games to Brentford, as they signed Robert Huth in January, so could be available for a few million. Once N'Doye or Hernandez are shipped out then we should go in for Rhodes before Middlesbrough up their offer, I've said it many times before but he is the striker we need this season if we are going to challenge for promotion.
Why do we need to replace him? We've got plenty of good Championship quality defenders - it's Championship quality strikers we need.
Can someone tell me what is funny about the "our kid", "lass in the club shop", thing? I've seen it repeated so many times I guess it must be humorous in some way. Maybe I missed something?
Anybody know who Bruce was on about the 4-5 young players pushing for a place? Or is it the 4-5 young players who won't get a chance when we sign a few?
