Bayern have systematically stripped Dortmund and will do the same to sides in Germany coming up. They will build again
But just like before their recent peak, they'll be perennial CL semi-finalists or quarter finalists for a while.
Yeah cos they still have good players and directors picking the signings. There's just not that many sides that will take their first in group away (due to seeding) and the last 16 will be against sides who are 2nd seeds as well They'll eventually fade under him.
Apparently interested in Aaron's from Newcastle who is potentially stalling on new deal. Probably just paper talk but newcastle fans fans rate him highly
And the Portuguese has taken a dig at Chelsea's Premier League rivals Manchester United and Liverpool, saying they are trying to "buy the title". (Independent) Liverpool are battling Arsenal and Bayern Munich to sign one of the brightest prospects in European football - Juventus' 19-year-old winger Kingsley Coman. (talkSPORT) Everton manager Roberto Martinez has refused to rule out making a move to sign Celtic defender Virgil van Dijk, with the Scottish club reportedly wanting £10m for the 24-year-old. (Daily Mail)
Wondered were you had been, the board was way too positive, needed a bit of jimmy negativity to bring it back to normal
Pot calling kettle black....Jose Mourinho is accusing both United and Liverpool of trying to buy the title.
The echo has a good image showing just how much jose has spent as a manager. Nearly €1bn with just 3 clubs.
Thread on prem league board which has lost of top 10 managers spending since 2003 I think it is (might be same or similar thing). Hes gone from richest club in Portugal to the new money club in England, to one of richest in Italy at the time then to richest in Spain and the world before going back to one of richest in England...
Impressive signing. The lad played in a World Cup final last year so should be a more than competent back up keeper. Slightly taking the piss but also a serious point, United signing him as a back up keeper and Liverpool signing Bogdan as their back up keeper kind of sums up the massively different levels of ambition of the two clubs.
