are you serious....... like you say we owe him so he owes us as well....remember no player is bigger than the club....
Of course i'm serious, he is under contract for another season, and if the reports are correct then he's entitled to about £2m in salary over the next year. And you are still assuming that he is not doing what the swans want him to do, and that is find another club. The stumbling block is his wages, we pay him £2m then he's not our problem any longer, its up to the club really
Who said he dont want to play for the swans ???? I think we owe him sod all....We certainly dont owe him the contract he signed that for sure......
Michu will never return to the fold, the club are categorically against his reinstatement he will be moved on, that's absolutely certain.
Of course we owe him his contract, these are a two edged sword, players have obligations and so do the clubs, regardless what you think Dai there is a legally binding contract that we must abide by. As far as we are aware the player is doing what he is being instructed to do, and that is find another club. I got a feeling that we will be giving at least 50% of his wages once he does.
you aint half making a case for me What do you say...legally binding......So we own him and can make him return then...It works both ways and not just for michu..
Dai we don't own any player, they are employees only, we don't own them like a possession. They have free will and can decide for themselves what they want to do, just like Leon who has decided to stay. Michu has decided he doesn't want to stay, that is up to him! I don't think the Swans had little to say on the matter. All the club wants to do now is lesson their financial burden for the next year, that would be to top up his wages on wherever he goes. I think the same will be for Dwight Tiendalli should he go, he has a year left on his contract, so we either pay him off, or top up his wages in a new team. The club has to decide what it wants to do.
If we are giving him no way back as I suspect we might be, then we may well have to fund his wages until the end of his contract, unless we can loan him out again.........
Where have the club ever said they dont want him back...Show me, He may not be part of monks plans but so are others who are not part of the first team squad. We own his playing contract and he cant play for anyone else and thats a fact. If he cant find a team willing to give him a contract he wants by the time the window closes then he has to return too training with us or end up with nothing if we sack him for not honoring as you say a water tight binding contract...
Dont stop at mid sentence Where have the club ever said they dont want him back...Show me, He may not be part of monks plans but so are others who are not part of the first team squad
Dai you really should try to keep up Garry Monk confirms Michu will not play for Swansea City next season http://www.southwales-eveningpost.c...Swansea-City/story-26892805-detail/story.html Huw Jenkins suggests Michu's future could lie away from Swansea City http://www.southwales-eveningpost.c...away-Swansea/story-26538281-detail/story.html
Answer is we will not know. All we know is michu is enjoying his 40k at the moment in spain on the beach and swansea are not taking any action. Going on huws past record, trying to sack laudrup, being a very well financially run club, getting rid of sousa easily, making loads of money on transfers - evidence suggests michu is not breaching contract and for me huws not suing/cancelling michus contract is evidence enough
Would not play as michu said not the club. The club is not stopping him from training at all but he cant be part of the squad if he refuses to do so.......The club have never stopped michu from returning.....try and keep up and try to understand the situation......The club are giving him a chance to find someone and thats as far as it goes and the minute the window closes then he has to return or face the sack...........The club is being more than fair to him but the clock is ticking......
Yes the clock is ticking for us, if he doesn't find a club we foot the entire bill, he will do what the club says up until he is no longer our player
If he comes back we pay as usual but if he refuses then we are entitled to terminate his contract and he will be without a club and will never get anyone to pay him £40,000 per week then. He dont have long left to sort himself out......the sooner the better for him and the club.....until then he is still our player who has his playing contract owned by the club...
He will not be allowed to return even if he wants too his days at this club are over. He has been told to stay away (not that he's shown any incination on his part to return) and to move on. We are paying his salary less bonuses until he is shipped out. Contrary to some reports he has had no personal contact with the club at all. All current negotiations are through his agent.
Sorry cant do that or we would be in big trouble....nobody at the club is refusing him to come back and if he dont find a club before the window shuts then he and the club have no choice in the matter.
