I said exactly the same a few weeks ago! Offer him a promotion bonus and if we don't look like we're in a good position come Xmas then the promise of not standing in his way if anyone comes in for him. We're gonna end up spending big on grey when we know what we've got in jelly and he'd piss it against championship defenders imo.
God that seems like a life time away, just goes to show that money doesn't always buy you success, heart, commitment and guts are want we should be looking for now.

We've been selling our better players who have performed and are keeping those like Huddlestone and Davies who haven't. Or keeping players more unproven. That could be a huge backward step, and I think it has most worried. Time will tell.
We arent selling, clubs are buying them. There's a difference. We're getting good prices for them is the positive.
Huddlestone and Davies are proven though, I would go so far as to say they are in the top 5 best players at the club. *Uck knows what happened last season but get then back to anyway near what they are capable of and the championship is ours.
