According to a report in Tutto Mercato Web the Frenchman is set to leave London for a new career with Turkish outfit Kayserispor this summer. They claim the deal will be permanent as Chris Ramsay does not see the former Arsenal youngster in his plans for next season. He would join the likes of Adel Taarabt, Bobby Zamora and Shaun Wright-Phillips in leaving the club this summer after being deemed surplus to requirements. Undoubtedly talented, Traore has often had the lazy tag thrown in his direction, and has never been consistent in a QPR shirt. Ramsay is trying to change the ethos around the club this summer, with players like Ben Gladwin, Massimo Luongo and Sebastian Polter signing – rather than big names who provide little impact. If traore linked with a move to Lille by Goal earlier this month, was to head to Turkey he would be playing for a team that was only promoted back to the Turkish Super Lig last season.
Given that he is so easily led (remember him skipping off early one season following Taarabt?) what are the odds that if he gets as far as Turkey he'll soon be in Syria?
Sadly a flutter by Warnock who knew fulwell he was taking a chance on him and paid peanuts to do so. Probably worth the gamble at that time but his services should have been dispensed with when we went down two years ago.
Redknapp gave him a two year contract off the back of about three reasonable performances at the end of the promotion season
Sadly that's about the sum total of it. It was in fact three good performances in the whole of the second half of that dreary season. When it came to the Play offs he was ****e,
For all his inconsistency I think he's a much better LB than Yun or Hill. I dont know how good the younguns are but I wouldn't like us to be reliant on those 2 at LB, they aren't good enough. So think he'll need replacing.
