Our development squad begin their Spanish tour against Club Deportivo Torrevieja, who play in the Spanish equivalent of the Conference. Apparently there's a large British presence in the City, so this match has some interest. KO is 8pm Spanish time, for anybody local to the area. I suspect this why Luer didn't feature on Wednesday, I think he's in Spain with this lot.
Some people... Meanwhile, the Tigers’ Academy will play the following pre-season fixtures: Saturday 18th July – Frickley Athletic (a) – KO 3pm (U21s/U18s) Goole AFC (a) – KO 3pm (U21s/U18s) Tuesday 28th July – Rossington Main (a) – KO 7pm (U21s/U18s) Selby Town (a) – KO 7pm (U21s/U18s) Saturday 1st August – Hereford FC (a) – KO 3pm (U21s) Tuesday 4th August – Gainsborough Trinity (a) – KO 7pm (U21s)
Watch the Academy game v Torrevieja last night came out with a creditable 2-3 score . all goals coming in 2nd half went ahead just aftyer half time then went 2-1 with a very odd penalty but stuck at it and came out 2-3 at full time. somew decent players for the future confident and strong on the ball. pleasant to watch a match without all the histrionics of the prima donnas. Must say with 6 bookings and a very dubious penalty, and the3 manager sent to the stands I think the ref had a very dishonourable night, very biased against the city [players. hope tyhey do well with their future games and build oin this creditablke win . well done the Hull City AFC Academy.
Thanks for the photos but I can't see anyone in the crowd wearing a black & white shirt, maybe if there was audio I could hear them shouting gerremonsardref
Whilst such appalling grammer is so hugely frustrating, he's spanish so is allowed a bit of leeway. Don't let it happen again though.
