    Blackburn have rejected Boro's latest offer of £9million plus £5million in add-ons and want £12million up front for the Scotland striker, who has scored 73 goals in 134 league appearances for Rovers.

    Mental money, it will be a Championship record if it goes ahead.

    Manchester Evening News is reporting that Man United are about to make a massive record bid for Ronaldo.

    They say it every season, it's bound to come true sooner or later.

    Rotherham United have signed former Sheffield Wednesday forward Chris Maguire subject to a medical.

    Brentford have signed Denmark forward Lasse Vibe from IFK Goteborg.

    That's the second striker Brentford have signed this week, can we have Gray now please?

    Delph's debut for Man City lasted 17 minutes, before his hamstring went.

    Real Madrid are currently beating Man City 2-0 after half an hour, goals from Benzema and Ronaldo(Hart should have saved Ronaldo's).

    Edit - Real Madrid 3-0 @MCFC - Pepe with the third on the stroke of HT

    Where are 'Boro getting all this money from? They've already splashed out on Downing, and now bidding £9m + addons for Rhodes?

    And here's us, let several players leave on a free over the summer, sold the best winger in the Championship, have 2 main players out injured till October and have a midfielder banned for taking drugs... and we've signed **** all.

    Rhodes is complaining about the bid not being accepted, I can't remember him complaining in the past, maybe he'll force their hand a bit.

    Paul Anderson and now Darius Henderson will make Scunny a great bet for the top 6 at least. Anderson will be a top player in league one.

    Aston Villa with Ayew - Adebayor - Gestede - Cambiasso(assuming they all sign that is) should have enough to stay up - just. <ok>

    Lesta fans wont be happy about Cambiasso,, but they should have kept the wonderful Nigel Pearson as manager. <eek>

    They'd spent £11.5m at the start of the window before they'd even had an approach for either Delph or Benteke and they tried to keep both players anyway.
