    Come home Dejan. 8m and 40k a week and I'd welcome him back. Still think he's a bellend but my God I'd be happier with him and Jose than Jose and Maya!

    Never really works when players return for a second stint at a former club. Thought he played very well for us and was gutted when he left, but I would'nt take him back at any price.

    I would take him back if it was certain he would go back to his form at Saints. It would be so ****ing funny to see the Scousers spitting feathers with rage! :)

    Lorren was sliding in on the sidelines more in a season than Alderweireld and Fonte combined. He's so rash. He's good on the ball and in the air. But he's too rash to ever be a decent centre back. Fonte is improving as a player because his decision making is improving. He could be rash at times when he joined and still can be at times. But it happens much less often now. Being rash is the last thing you want your centre back to be doing.

    Definitely no to a Lovren return. What I really don't get is the negative comments about Maya. He may have looked a little dodgy in our first season back in the Premier League but last year he rarely put a foot wrong when called upon (quite an achievement for someone who was constantly in and out of the team). This season he will probably get a longer spell of action. He maybe lacks the leadership that Fonte has shown but is otherwise very close performance wise.

    I can remember when Fonte was seen as someone 'not good enough for the Premier League'! We do need another centre back but I'm more than happy with the Fonte / Maya partnership at the back.
