Well he's certainly not ready for PL football after a long absence. A season out on loan will do him good. I'd rather Seager get some minutes for Saints while playing for the U21's.
We've stepped up a gear...a youngster really has to hit the ground running to get game time now. A shame, but times will get tougher for everyone but the best at Saints.
Think we will be seeing a lot of balls pinged from Clasie into Pellé. They were linking up already tonight I am feeling very confident going into this season based on tonight's evidence. I'm thinking/hoping a top ten finish could be on the cards again.
Inevitable really. If Saints want to progress they will either have to produce better youngsters for the first team or coach them to as good as they can get and sell them on. Interestingly, we are actually in the position now where we would be buying the likes of OXO, Walcott and Bale if we didn't produce them ourselves.
A season in the Championship with a decent club like Wolves will do him the world of good and show us if he is worth keeping or not
Hope he gets a loan, always felt he had a big upside. Huge, decent athlete and good technique. My suspicion is the problem is more between the ears.
I think the end of this season is likely to spell the end for a few of the hopefuls... McQueen, Isgrove, Turnbull and probably a few more besides.
Agreed but would like them to have the season away at Championship clubs to give then a final chance to impress and get themselves in the shop window
