Seeing AN interviewed and his openness about his approach (and frustrations around transfers) got me thinking about what other questions I’d be keen to ask the man. Most managers are very tight lipped and only give out the stock standard answers to similar standard questions, but assuming the “interview” was open to the floor, what other questions would you have for Alex Neil?
"If, at the end of this season, Norwich have been successful and are on the cusp of, or have broken into, the top 10, would you rather stay and try and push this team even higher, or take the chance to go to a bigger club, if one was approaching you?" "What club do you dream of managing, anywhere in the world?"
Are you aware of any super heroes who where Alex Neil PJ's? If you are going to share a bottle of wine with the other PL managers after each match, what will be your go to tipple? Have you ever tossed a caber? or an unruly player? Bah!
Which Norwich player have you given the biggest roasting for and for what? Does McAvoy actually do any coaching or is his role purely intimidation and punishment beatings? More seriously - would you prefer funds to be used for squad strengthening or stadium development? Under what circumstances would you join Aston Villa?
Or Scotch pies??? Seriously though - If you were given £20M to spend on just one player, who would you like to sign????
I'd like to hear his best Norfolk accent ...whilst answering, what is the dumbest #itk comment you've ever read on the Pink'un board / Twitter?
I would like him to have a Q&A session with Peter who came on Canary Call after we'd stuffed Blackpool 4-0 I think it was and said we were only good enough for League 2. I think Radio Norfolk did try and get in touch to talk to him after our Wembley victory, but I think he'd 'left the country' by then!!!! PS - hopefully someone can delve through the archives and retrieve that 5 minutes of total 'squit!!'
