Hi! I'm an aspiring sports journalist currently at University in Sheffield. I thought you might be interested in reading my report from last night's game at the Proact Stadium. http://ryan147.com/2015/07/22/chesterfield-1-3-hull-city-pre-season-friendly/ Any comments appreciated! Thank you!
"Ex-England defender Michael Dawson and Croatia forward Nikica Jelavic" "Saunders decide to hand some valuable first team minutes to youngsters" Are proof reading and accuracy no longer requirements among journalists, or only those commenting on Chestefield? Not only wrong information included in both match report I've seen but also poor grammer to accompany.
Thank you for pointing out the second one, I have edited the error. However, what is incorrect about the first?
I'd maybe have not mentioned that HM was a former Sheff U player twice (I'd be happy without seeing their ****ty name at all but needs must) apart from that it reads OK.
Reads well and a good report. As i was not able to make the game last night. A good 3-1 win for the Tigers. On to Austria now.
Decent report, good to see us referred to as Hull City! Ignore anything Hat says, he can't spell Chesterfield, or grammar, he's not sure if he's seen 1 match report or 2 and that infinitive at the end is definitely dodgy!
