I seem to remember they played a version like that at St Mary's a few years back, always sounded funny and still does! Thanks for the highlights though, it's nice to see Jay getting on the score sheet, should do good with his confidence and spur Pelle on a bit too. Clasie looks great, his passing range and accuracy are excellent.
Yes, what is happening with Gardos. When he played at the start of last season I remember being quite impressed. In fact I thought he was hard done by to lose his place to Toby (at first!).
I didn't assume from Irwin that JRod wouldn't play against Feyenoord. I think he was just stating the obvious that Jay has to be watched and nurtured. I feel a bit sorry for Gardos....he looked okay when he was used last season....but if we let him go, I must assume that we have someone better up our sleeve (after all Ron et al see Gardos every day).
I guess it depends on finding better replacements. If we do they will be allowed to leave. Personally I would rather they stay as it adds to our squad depth. But this a double edged sword as the players them selves want to be playing and won't big happy as backup.

Wonder what's happened to Mayuka. I know we had that strange tweet about his contract, but I don't think the club has confirmed he's left?
