I agree he's a better player all round than Jonas (though we're yet to see this properly for us) but this is largely down to fantastic passing, some of his through balls are stunners. I agree with whoever it was that said earlier his dribbles aren't as successful as Jonas's but when they are successful he tops them off with great plays.

Fair point. Think I'm clouded by the fact Beardo was in his 30s when I saw him here, but still had fantastic quick feet.

Yeah he was definitely the better dribbler first time round for us and I can't lay claim to have seen him then either, just in archive footage. He still dribbled like an absolute beast in his 30s too though so even if you were to count the two Beardo eras as separate he'd be 1st for me.

No he doesn't you mong. He keeps the ball very well for a winger. It's just when it comes to actually taking the next step, he fails. However, his dribbling up to that point is often quite excellent.

  9. And btw, i know Tiote's game is mainly about his strength, aggression and ball control, and also he uses faints/step overs a lot to fool people, but his dribbling skills are pretty good IMO.

I know the difference between what Tiote does most of the time, and dribbling, but that doesn't mean he doesn't dribble at all. He dribbles quite a lot and skins a canny few players.

It's just hard not to over rate Tiote, i mean.. come on.... it's Tiote!!

    EDIT - Don't call me a fat **** you fat ****! :D

exactly, it's like saying harper is our best dribbler as he doesn't lose the ball when he dribbles it out of the box before passing it... even if we are 5-0 down and there's no pressure on him.

    For me 1.) Jonas 2.) HBA 3.) Fergie 4.) Enrique 5.) Erding

You cant generalise dribbling tiote completes dribbles using his aweness and strength and jonas runs at defenders takes them on and gets forward, the dribble complete stat is a load of rubbish anyway if tiote runs 2 paces and passes it its a complete driblle whereas if jonas rips the whole team and gets fouled its incomplete. Tiote is better in possesion than jonas but when it comes to running at players and beating them and close control you wont see much better than jonas. Its like at barca xavi will have more complete dribbles than messi but messi is seen as the better dribbler because hes quick has close control skills the lot he wont succeed in every dribble but hes more willing to take risks and bomb forward

I'll go with the majority and say Jonas or HBA! Remember Stevie T making some killer runs down the side last season though <laugh>
