"Someone has to chuck bombs and I love doing so. I have a little tick list of who will be first to lose the plot. I'm rarely wrong. " What a complete load of back-tracking bollocks
But you love to post as if you know everything. It's a message board for opinions. I have mine but don't mind anyone else having an opposing one. Your problem is your a self appointed 'happy policeman' who automatically jump on anyone not conforming to your way of thinking, usually backed up with some sort of threat if that poster persists in disagreeing with you. This is an open football forum not your little message board and it welcomes opinions from all walks. You don't like that it's obvious but its not going to change. You won't make me think something I don't want to, so I will just happily continue to say it how I want.
Backtracking? Explain. I stand by EVERYTHING I've said but my 'bombs' are just opposing thoughts, away from the usual happy at owt posters like you. I'll pop some pictures in my next post to assist, as obviously words tax you a little.
Trite as a desperate defence and a few have used it. It's easy to say but, in reality, only people who have been pulled up for pointless & relentless negativity say it. I've had many an argument with people of all convictions and still remain 'friends'. You posted a miserable thread, attacking SAFC in various forms, and would've referred to it over & over if you'd been proved correct. It's a little strange that there are people who weep & wail and predict all kinds of woes and are then happy to be proved correct. No matter how long I live I'll never understand that. Having seen your attack shown to be off the mark you come back with 'I was only playing Devil's advocate' and 'stirring up debate'. If you'd been proved correct you wouldn't have said that and you know it.
What I mean't is obvious, cest p.s. I didn't realise that disagreeing with something that you've said would result in a surprisingly obnoxious, and rude, reply that shows that you are just a vindictive twit (I think that that's the correct vowel) that will 'have a go' at anybody that has a different view to yours . . . . p.p.s. "as obviously words tax you a little" oh the irony . . . .
Always the same old Cest ........ believing anyone who's hoping for the best is a gullible fool who settles for anything then immediately trotting out the condescending insults, questioning their intelligence, to anyone who doesn't hang on your profound insights into Sunderland.
Just found this thread, had the popcorn out reading it. I love a good Cest thread, always stirs it up a bit. I rarely agree with him but there is always loads of entertainment value. Personally I think were doing a good job, not been held to ransom and signing solid players in positions of need. Its obvious were going to play 3 up front with 3 of those players wide, Lens fits perfectly into that system. Were a midfielder and another forward short, probably another defender too. We will use the 2 loans available to us plus another permanent signing. Having Giacc back and fit with pre-season under his belt will be very welcome. If the AJ situation get sorted out things will be a lot easier.
He certainly 'stirred it up' this time, albeit unintentionally, 'cos his aim was just to project his negativity to encourage others to think similarly There is definitely a case for positivity, isn't there
I agree with a fair bit of that. At his age, and with his decades of respect & experience, I've no doubt that Advocaat's been given clear assurances on player acquisitions. He won't have come here to be messed about and retire in ignominy. It's obvious that a club that escaped relegation in the last week of the season would be late in making plans. You can't offer a player a contract until you know what league you're in. It's also obvious that a club with such a recent poor history should have to fight for new players. Just as obvious is that our signings will often come from better clubs who are currently doing deals of their own. It's my belief that we have deals lined up for players, either on loan or permanent, that rely on some of the top clubs confirming their incoming signings. To attack the entire club, when there's so much of the window left, isn't 'thought provoking' imo, it's a little vindictive and personal. If I thought so little of the club, for so long, I'd seriously consider stopping supporting it ......... perhaps Cest already has.
"If I thought so little of the club, for so long, I'd seriously consider stopping supporting it ......... perhaps Cest already has." With a little luck (Paul McCartney song)
To be honest mate if you're looking for signings more exciting than Lens you'll be waiting a long time. He's a good player and at the higher end of player that SAFC can be looking at at the minute.
**** off you mag ****. No doubt you'll have Messi, Tango man & xavi Alonso waiting to put pen to paper for you ****s.
Of course!! We would have gone for Schweinsteiger too however we felt it be best if we stepped aside for Man Utd. They need him much more than we do
