How anyone can hate another club is childish and very immature and what they really mean is they are envious of a clubs success and are pissed off that their club is not as good......hence Sunderland who are usually candidates for the drop which looks like there will be no change this season......

You clearly aren't. Both have a comparable history with Newcastle taking more league titles to spurs cup collection. Neither are big clubs in the sense United, Liverpool and Arsenal are but have a good standing within English football. Not so long ago the roles were reversed and Newcastle were finishing top 6 regularly while spurs languised im midtable changing managers like they were going out of fashion. They are very comparable sides, in stature and success.
