Bruce to quit through lack of funds Allam to sell up then we get our club back.. fill the place week in week out and welcome back Nick Barmby as manager.. Lovely
I said after the lastest name change rejection that the Allams could easily asset strip the club and walk away. Looking more and more likely......
Why ? Bruce did exactly what he wanted last season and ****ed up on all fronts resulting in a relegation which is costing the club millions in lost revenue. The owners have a right to reign him in. Would Bruce throw his own money about so freely ? Like **** he would.
I'm not sure what that has to do with the point being made? The reason that comment was interesting was because it suggests that there is a chance Bruce could walk weeks before the start of the season if funds aren't made available.
just listened to the interview in full, yet again refreshing honesty from the man, he seems determined to put things right, but if a managers hands are tied behind his back with regards funding he would be a fool to stay around, I personally think the Allam`s little boat trip will have resharpened their focus (or at least I hope it has), we won`t be spending like we did in the Prem, but I still think for Poppa to break even we need to be up there to bring the money back and make us a more saleable asset. I suspect there will be a small war chest provided, but added to with funding from any sales.
I agree to a certain extent but he has to hold his hands up for being part of that problem. Bruce identified Hernandez and paid 10 million for him. Thats why we're having to sell assets now. He needs to stay and steady the ship.
Remember first there is a gap to be filled with the loss of £8 million through a now worthless player
It ****ing is Believing the suspensions are disproportionate, manager Steve Bruce said: 'The two incidents don't warrant each other. 'He (Hutton) has thrown the ball at his back. It's not going to hurt Altidore, he is built like a horse. He might be angry, but to go and headbutt someone... 'That was below the belt and Alan is lucky not to be in hospital as he has a cut eye, bust nose and chipped tooth. Amongst a lot more of his bollocks. He's always talking out his arse. It's probably the number 1 reason I hate him. He's absolutely full of ****.
He had endless funds last season, no questions asked, and he ****ed up, that is the point. How big do you want the point to be before you see it? Would you be prepared to hand unlimited amounts of your own cash over to SB ?
We could do with the FA making a decision on this fiasco as well. We need to know if Livermore's banned or not because dragging it out is damaging and cruel to both the club and player.
If we need steadying then why not, would be a pragmatic way of safeguarding us in the Championship. All the Bruce haters will just have somebody new to hate and the world will go on. It looks like the money-grabbing arseholes on the playing staff who got us relegated are going to carry on in the same vein if these rumours about the pay-cuts are true so we might need somebody like Pearson again when Bruce goes. I think Phil Brown has criticised the Allams previously (might be wrong on that) so don't think he will ever be back while they are here, if his name gets mentioned.
Don't share that hate myself really, I take it you are being serious. Hard to hate a guy who got us the highest achievement in our history (FA Cup final/Europe) so he has my respect until he goes, won't be long until you will have a new guy to spout nonsense about anyway mate the way things are looking
I get the feeling (not based on any knowledge) that Bruce is looking for way out and a "lack of funds" might be just the reason he is looking for
I think it's a good point that Bruce has failed when given funds and spent them poorly. My issue with the transfer funds, as always, is the complete dishonesty by Ehab. The man is such a slimy little twat. The only thing he would say about the season ticket prices was that it 'matches their ambition'. We quite obviously don't have ambition for promotion at all in a financial sense. That was just the latest in a long line from him.
