Levy must have fallen over and hit his head, can be the only explanation for getting this deal through so quickly and apparently cheaply. Every other deal we have done or tried to do with Spurs has been so tortuous, painful and expensive that I'm actually shocked at how quick and easy this one has been

I think they're obviously just clearing the decks and freeing up funds for a splurge in the market themselves. I was reading some of the quotes from Spurs fans about this deal. They were over the moon to be getting shot of him. They would say that though. We do the same.
You've just completely changed your stance? Brown is getting on and needs to be replaced, but kaboul has proven to be unreliable, hence the reason he can't get into spurs and we got him at 3 million. I hope he comes and is decent for us, you never know. How much have you seen of kaboul to say he's reliable? What do you think the characteristics are in a reliable defender?
