Bench of: Pickford, Jones, O'Shea, Larsson, AJ, Fletcher,Graham I've no idea who we should be looking at, and I love the way the club are playing the transfer situation with cards close to the chest giving nothing away & we've still got a couple to get rid of (Buckley, Vergini etc.). Keep the faith lads, that team isn't a million miles away.

I remember watching that Dzagoev for Russia few years back and thought he'd be the next big thing. Did he go off the boil or something? Don't get me wrong he'd still be amazing for us.
Plays for CSKA Moscow, still only 25. Dick played him a lot when in charge of Russia. Got him performing well for his Country. Looks like he had a bad season a couple back but bagged 7 goals and 8 goals this season gone. So like Lens he comfortably out scored and out created anyone in our squad. Very different leagues I know.

If only they could all stay fit... Just need to add strength in depth really and IDEALLY a top notch CD to phase in throughout the season, but I personally (appreciate I may be in a minority here) would not be worried if we had to go one more season with JOS/Wes rotating there.
I'm more of a 4-2-3-1 kind of guy with what we have: Starting Pants Matthews, O'Shea, New Rock CB, Van A Catts, Rodwell (assuming his heart shows up) AJ (assuming... you know), New AM/CM, Lens Defoe or Wickham Bench: Coates (to hopefully replace O'Shea in the starting lineup sooner rather than later) Brown Second CB purchase (I really think we need one who can also play LB/RB if needed) Seb (to start if Rodwell's heart continues to go missing) Giacc (what a luxury to have if he's fit - could make a case to start as AM) Gomez Wickham or Defoe Fletch's replacement Alvarez? Jones Pickford Mannone (if he stays)
Agree, though maybe 12th to 14th for the moment. If there are to be any further quality signings, I reckon each one would push us up a couple of places.
