Are we still having little digs at Hughton? let it go lol. Not really reading anything into theses games, not really playing tough teams and they're easy games. But good for fitness and scoring goals to boost confidence is a good thing.
Sorry Drunky, but no I wasn't. It's just in the pre-season games when he was in charge, we scored very few goals. Looking forward to the game against Wet Sham 2 weeks tonight and must get my ticket this week.
To be fair those were tougher games, but I know we didn't score a lot of goals in the season. It is good we're looking like an attacking side once again.
I hope the game gave Johnson a chance to lose a few pounds of timber - looks like he ate all the pies this summer (see pic on Pink Un)
This stage of pre-season it's about building good tempo and players competing for a squad place. Andreu has done his chances no harm! The tour is going to be very interesting for him. Vadis will need some good games too - because I don't see room for both of them. All round - sounds like some good work ethic and healthy spirit even against diminutive opposition. Bodes well...
