    UPDATED STATEMENT FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE HULL CITY OFFICIAL SUPPORTERS CLUB (HCOSC) REGARDING THE LATEST NEWS ON THE

    PROPOSED NAME CHANGE OF THE FOOTBALL CLUB


    Unlike other Supporters Groups, the HCOSC is the “official” (properly recognised) Supporters Club and in line with our constitution, it is the duty of the Board of Directors of the HCOSC to remain impartial and to represent and respect ALL of its paying members differing views and opinions. We therefore do so by saying this updated statement is consistent with all other statements and press releases that have been issued in the past concerning the situation regarding the proposed name change of the football club.

    Although it's factually inaccurate as there is no longer a proposed name change. Unless Bernard Noble knows something we don't.

    When I said the OSC should release some sort of statement, even if it didn't really say anything, I wasn't expecting them to take it that literally. <laugh>

    Amazing. What a sorry predicament to put yourselves in; I think they should have just left it for the club to speak for them as that is what it seems to boil down to. This 'official' properly recognised nonsense is wonderfully Mainwaringesque.
