Having had the chance to absorb our first signing i began to wonder if big things are coming our way...... That in itself is a feeling i haven't had for sometime, however im not convinced yet at all. We require 6 first team players and then get them to gel. I think we wilk lose the first 5 games and struggle at first. In reality even 100 million spent is no guarantee of success. It could take two windows before any real difference is achieved.

Anyone agree? I know most wont but im certain im right.

I agree, while I am getting hopes up more after our first signing, I do think we have to be patient as this rebuild can't be done overnight. Definitely need to give Steve and his staff time to see what they can get out of the current squad, they'll know better than anyone who needs to be moved on and replaced, but that can't happen straight away. We won't lose Willo, Gouffran and all the other wasters from last season in one go.

Wij is definitely an encouraging start however we still have a considerable amount of business that needs doing before we can expect to be competative in those first 5 games. We are absolutely desperate for a quality CB and a LB as priority if you ask me.

I am in general feeling reasonably positive at this moment in time. Have to see what the rest of the window turns up however. Fully expect to have to wait until the end of next summer to see the kind of difference we really want.

Dummett is quite simply dog ****. Haidara simply doesn't convince me either. He was signed from a struggling Ligue 1 club and hardly shone there. We need quality in defence. A new LB and CB pairing.

Every team needs solid and versatile swuad players. Dummett is still developing and I see a bright future for the lad.

Mr. T ? Whats happening to you? I was your greatest fan. we both revelled in the ineptitude of our team and management. I looked forward to your latest put down of optimistic fans... but now................. I can feel a distinct sense of optimism in your posts!!! WTF.... I loved the old MR.. T. Please come back? Are you throwing off the mantle of pessimism? If so.. I would like to grab that cloak and wrap it tightly around me... Long live TurkeyTOON????? Hurrah..
