Was obvious that Sterling was going for that sort of fee with the way Liverpool have been spending money this window. Bit like when Bale left Spurs a couple of years ago.

Think they have already spent the vast majority of the money and will sign Benteke and wont do much more.
 
£49m is a ridiculous amount for him.........staggering.

My view on Sterling is that he has a great deal of skill BUT isn't a good footballer! It will be interesting to see how he gets on. I think he'll be at West Brom in 3 years time!

No doubt I'll be prove wrong. We shall see.

I agree I don't think he is as good as some make out, city let Milner go for free and buy Sterling for £49m.......city must have more money than sense.

£49m is pocket change for Man City. It's like us spending a tenner.
 
Sterling could be a very good player....he has the skills, but has he the modesty to work hard to improve or will he coast and be a 'good enough.' player. Happens to some, when less naturally talented players work hard and surpass them.
