    Can I just add, this will also be an excellent signing, Mitrovic visibly has the attributes which will allow him to adjust. I'm looking forward to seeing him in the shirt.

    Im not convinced hes worth the money i suspect he's going to struggle and im not joking i don't know much about him but goals ratios mean little in mickey mouse leagues. Just saying hope im wrong.

    Nah its a valid point Mr T. His goals record in Belgium will mean little here. His age is a good thing for development, and he has the right attributes to succeed here. He has a good pedigree too, coming through with flying colours from Partizan and Anderlecht. 2 bastions of young players development in Europe. Also being eastern block should mean a tougher core to him. The concern would be his international record,1 in 13, tough to read that. Perhaps he has struggled but then he is just a kid. He did however excel in U19 and U21, and scored his only goal in a big game against rivals Croatia in a home draw.

    We have to hope that we take that excellent pedigree, talent and make him better. We can't just expect him to arrive and bang in goals for fun though. Hence we need another to compliment him and why teams are hesitant about shelling 12m.

    I feel he will sign for us, however his family (father) are too mercurial so he will be a stepping stone player looking for better paydays, unless of course he grows (1) a pair (2) up.

    If he contributes 15 - 20 goals a season for 2 seasons before heading off somewhere "better" that's fine by me. Should leave us in a better position to attract others.

    His dad has told a Belgian newspaper that a deal with us is close. His family have been over here scoping the place out and the player is reportedly very keen to join us. I don't care if he moves on in 2 years, as long as he scores goals for us in the meantime meaning we can be in a better place when he leaves and can attract quality replacements.
