It's not Hooped, it's not traditional and if you've got any sense you'll donate your £50.99 away from NIKE with their shoddy interests in FIFA and those other morons and send it towards an Alzheimer's charity in honour of our very own legend Mr Stanley Bowles. At the end of the season we can celebrate our promotion and enjoy looking forward to an Adidas kit with Guinness as our sponsor.
I'm not sure how the powers that be could have approved the back of the jersey. Another hoop could have been squeezed in to make it look less awful.
5 seasons I would have thought...? I wouldn't mind if they actually bothered and listened to the fans.
I have already boycotted it, I just wouldn't buy it. Don't forget though that rangers must have signed off on the kit design, so I wouldn't put it down to Nike. It's rangers responsibility to ensure that we have a kit that meets our requirements, particularly as TF said last year that this years kit would be what the fans wanted as the first kit in a contract is always a standard Nike shirt.
Which makes it even worse, I know it shouldn't matter and that 3 points and promotion is obviously more important but it does paint an awful image. Come on you supaaaaaa Hoop.
I've worn the centenary cup final replica for the past few years, just hoops and the old badge, simple but pure QPR...
I can't see what's wrong with it. As far as I'm concerned, the panel on the back is there to have the number on it. It's not that dissimilar to other teams. And for me, its better than the thin hoops we've had in the past, that was an appalling kit. Additionally, haven't we got better things to worry about this season?
As we can't do a lot about it other than not buy it, I'm not going to get upset about it, but it's design is extremely poor. Whether it's better or worse than last seasons pi** poor attempt at a kit design is not really the point. The point is the hoops have been our heritage and tradition for many years and yet again it's just been torn up for 2015/2016 when the Chairman Said this seasons kit would be a traditional QPR kit, and they even did a fans survey on it.
I have a strange feeling that there is ruling on this set out by the FL that requires the panel to be on the shirt. So maybe it isn't entirely the clubs fault.
Does anyone else not really care?? Any grown adult buying a replica football shirt every year wants to have a look at themselves anyway.
I like the 3rd kit. Think it looks great. Never liked the Dennis the Menace one (even though I have one in a drawer somewhere). The back of this one makes it look even worse. I liked the skinny hoops we had last year but the patch on the back this year does look like sh*t. That said, I don't know why it bothers the OP so much to tell everyone else that they shouldn't buy the damn thing!
No, and if I did I'd buy them all the regalia just like my dad bought me. It's a great way of getting them on board especially as a small club. Anyone above 16 wearing them to the match looks a bit odd IMO, particularly the less athletic among us.
I don't really see it that way. Kids want to dress up like their heroes and a football shirt doesn't cost too much in the grand scheme of things. I'd imagine it's often difficult to coerce a kid to support a team as **** as QPR when the rest of the playground is wearing Arsenal and Chelsea shirts. Bribing them works.
When my lad was of that age, he had no leanings at all to other teams just to follow the crowd. He wanted to be like his Dad and Grandad and be an R so it was easy. Had to say no on a few occasions when coming to LR as all he wanted to do was to buy up the club shop. He still had his replica shirts though, but not every season.
