Is that it? Does anyone think we will sign more players?

Do we need an experienced GK to cover Pepe or is Gulacsi good enough?

Do we need a LB Robinson looks a good player Johnson and Flanagan can play there and we still have Aurellio?

If Agger and Carra stay fit Soto and Skrtel are good cover.

Lucas will start at DM and Spearing can cover.

The squad is already strong, we still need to offload a couple.

I thought we'd signed Doni as back up for Pepe. Still think we need a LB, a back up striker........

    And MATA :emoticon-0115-inlov

I don't expect Aurelio to play around 30 games this season and I would prefer to have a natural left back. Insua is good but he's not ready yet and he needs to be rotated.

I would prefer to keep Flannagan and Johnson as right back.

I'm kind of happy either way now being the point of the post. If we do strengthen great if not i'm happy with our options.

Kuyt can play as striker and RB's can play at LB if they really need to.

We still have players to sell as they are not good enough to be squad players and are on too much money. Once they are gone i'd like us to make a few random signings at about £1m a pop on low wages for emergancy players

Whats the deal with Insua...is he still on the books?Surely he can fill in at left back and have the opportunity to make an impression after being loaned out last year.

Im in agreement with those who want to give youth a chance also, so lets hope Kenny continues to blood them into the squad with chances here and there.

I would like Insua to stay and continue to develop. In the season when we finished 2nd, he played a vital part by rotating with Aurelio. He was very solid. However, he had to step up in the next season and he seemed overwhelmed. Despite providing a number of assists, his defensive game really suffered.

I think he is a good back up to have but we need a more established left back who will start the majority of games.

In a perfect world i would like to see a LB, CB & FW signed.

I guess the cover options we currently have (mentioned above) may suffice and will add to the youngsters experience.

With the youngsters, i dont manage to keep in touch with the youth/reserve teams, are they playing out of position in the first team? As when Martin Kelly broke through to RB i think i read he was (or may be groomed into) a CB.

What positions do we see the likes of Flanagan, Robinson, Kelly, Coady, Sterling etc playing in the next few years?

I suppose now we've got the British signings out of the way (Downing pending medical) we should look abroad again.

In an ideal world I'd take Lavezzi, Hummels (who was linked today actually) and Cissokho/Baines. Doubt heavily that we sign any of those three though. I think Lavezzi in particular is fantastic, a real live wire, if anyone gets him he'll light up their team. If he stays at Napoli, they'll be a real force next season, especially with Inler signed up.

Kenny in the last couple of days said there will be more signings. He also said there would be some departures. He wouldn't say whom on either side.
However with Konchesky and Jovanovic already gone,He's organising a transfer for himself to Anderlecht, latest reports suggest its almost finalised. It seems that the next is Poulsen. Some of the rumours are inaccurate, but I reckon this one is accurate as Poulsen a while back was considering a move back to Denmark.

I still believe we need an experienced back-up for Reina becasue Gulacsi is going out on loan according to reports.

Despite the emergance of Robinson at left-back, I still feel we need a left-back to start most games. I'm thinking of Aly Cissokho.

And I would like a back-up striker to cover Suarez and Carroll because I still believe that N'Gog will leave Liverpool.

And finally, I believe we need a centre-back. Agger, when fit, is immense but he is never fit for an extended period of time.

I still think we need another option for RM/RW as we have no pace out on that side, unless you put Kelly/Flanno at RB then move Johnson to RM.

Heard rumours about a cheeky bid for Aaron Lennon? Id be reasonably happy with that!

I'm pretty sure Henderson is going to go right wing

Would Kuyt not be considered back-up striker? He linked up brilliantly with Suarez. As we are adding more depth in wide areas and centre mid (with Gerrard and Henderson able to play wide right) would Kuyt not benefit from being the back-up striker?
