    It's the same every summer, we lose a few basically glorified training session games with teams that bear no resemblance to what will be playing in the first match of the league season. You cannot draw any conclusions apart from maybe a few individual performances.

    Well that was embarrassing. The commentating, and the performances in both matches.

    It's very early pre-season still, but I hoping the complete haphazardness on the field only proves to Kat & Les that we actually need to spend some money on some decent players before this window is out. Squad depth not only not there, but a million miles from it at this stage. Lack of tactics, awareness, & positioning made it look like U12's fayre at best. Hopefully 4 or 5 key signings still to come and quickly. #wemarchon

    And barely looked like it either. Very similar to the tail end of last season. Early pre-season, but there's a LOT of work to be done by both the transfer committee, and on the pitch.
