Spurs fans make every transfer their own business then start howling when their own players get linked away from their skidmark of a club.

We got linked with Harry Kane and they started piping up "Why would he go to United, he's Spurs through and through", just like Bale was settled in London with his pregnant wife and Modric loved London and Berbatov was an adopted Spud and Campbell would never join Arsenal... can anybody actually remember a player ever staying loyal to Spurs and rejecting the overtures of a bigger club?

Everything will change when they get their new stadium though

Could you add some context as to who that's at least supposed to be? The caterer? New groundsman?

To be fair it does look like Mitrovic. It's not Zahavi, though.

 

His representatives are at the ground. I don't know who that is in the picture, but zahavi is there.

Definitely looks like Mitrovic. Fairly hopeful that these two will work out pretty well should we sign them. CB has to be priority after that though.

 

We're getting close to this being as shambolic as every other window Mike has overseen. We still have no signings, and as much as I adore twitter bullshit and photoshopped pictures, I'm getting hacked off.

This is nothing to do with big signings, nothing to do with big fees. Depay was secured almost immediately after the season ended for much more than our net spend this season will be.

Undoubtedly, by the end of next week we'll be using exactly the same soundbites, because nothing will have changed, except we'll be a week closer to the start of the season.
