I know I’m good enough, but I have to prove to the manager and the rest of the team that I deserve to be involved. That’s my aim. “Under Chris Ramsey, you know that every day you train there is a chance you will be involved. It gives you that extra incentive, you don’t need any more motivation than that.” Head Coach Ramsey added: “Tyler is a late developer. He went down the education route initially, and studied in America. “He has trained with us for a few months and we believe he deserves this chance.” Blackwood scored six goals in total during his first spell with Rangers, including a match-winning brace for the Under-21s at Crewe Alexandra and another double in a first team friendly with Norwich City. Born in London, the former Northampton Town trainee arrives from the United States following a three-year spell with the University of South Florida. That's my cue Watford....he is not a defender, have I mentioned we need defenders... In the words of that great song Vindaloo....we are gonna score one more than you.....
I understand that he is one of David Bardsley's protogees. Well worth the gamble. Our loss would be minimal. Sorry, just reread the tweet on Report & he didn't come fromn Mr. Bardsley. Still worth the gamble though!
If he's any good we can sing his name like we used to with Dexter Blackstock, to the tune of Pigbag. Da da da da..... Tyler Blackwood!!
