Bradley is pretty well regarded in the game.... if this is indeed the way we are going it would have significant commercial implications in terms of our brand reaching new markets... just the football side that is a bit of a worry!
Bradley must be the 1283th person to be "The bookies' favourite!!" Yawn. Wake me up when we've got someone in.
Wake up ... it's been sorted ... was an outsider too... http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/o...icester-City/story-26871250-detail/story.html
... sounds more like a designer fragrance than a football manager why him? ... and don't say "because we're worth it" ....
Yet another bored bookmaker working hard in the rumour mill then... How many people do you think had bet on Bob Bradley? As I said, bookies must be making a mint on us...
AKCJ has done his money on Cara Jocelyn Delevingne apparently ... probably got good odds but I just can't see it myself ...
None of the people the bookies are listing have had any contact from us, does this mean we haven't contacted anyone or that we are conducting our recruitment very discreetly? I'm clinging to he hope that its the latter & it's someone good. At the moment it's worrying, the favorite is a 3rd division MLS coach, how is that getting to the 'next level'? I felt we had a real chance of progressing but now
It's not really third division it's the development team for SJ so it's really a 2nd division team. You shouldn't use your league structure when thinking about ours. The local news has pretty much moved on now, they mentioned it in the 9am fox40 news hour and said he was going to you all but it sounded like a rehash and not like they had bothered to ask their sources again.
2nd division/development team doesn't make it any better I'm afraid. It's not on a par with the PL & if the owners are looking to progress the club we surely should be looking for a Manager experience at a higher level - unless its ooh ouch me knees 'arry !!
Interview with Preki here... http://m.mlssoccer.com/news/article...preki-radosavljevic-addresses-rumors-linking- It's 18 minutes long, mind! And doesn't really clarify much... He says that it's definitely a "head coach" role. First thought... He says 'U.K.' As opposed to 'England' Any Scottish teams without a manager!? Secondly... What if Lennon is coming to us, and this clown is off to Bolton!?
I'm not saying it's any better I'm just clarifying it for you. Preki is a top MLS manager that just happens to manage a 3rd division team that is really a 2nd division team that is really the development team for SJ. He was doing that because he thought Sacramento was going to get an MLS team in 2016 when it now appears it will be 2020. So if one really wanted to put what level he is at he is MLS level. Not that MLS is really that much better when it comes to a jump into the pl of course.
For the love of God, we are in one of the best leagues in the world, is a MLS reserve team coach the best we can do??? That this rumour wasn't instantly laughed at is depressing.
If you want to really feel depressed you should read some of the stuff from the Sac Republic fans. They think you are taking Preki to sign some of their players!
It seems it was someone in the staff of sac republic having a laugh at the media and you all. I'm sure that's one source that they won't go back to. The sac republic owner confirmed today that Preki is involved with a group of Cali investors that are in the first stages of buying an English club and that Preki will be involved with that group and will most likely manage that team when they purchase it. No word on who that club is and the owner of sac republic said he had promised Preki to keep it to himself.
