They return the day before we play North Ferriby is what I read earlier, so 16th July. You would think the kit would be sorted by then, if not then what would we play in? Last seasons kit?
Assuming the sponsor is sorted and announced on Friday as planned, I'm sure we'll have the new kit sorted for the Ferriby game.
That really shouldn't ever happen, but I'm sure it has before. In fact, didn't we even play one of the Europa League qualifiers in an old kit last year?
Yeah I think we did. Also, it might just've been me, but I'm pretty sure the Europa League kit was more 'orange' than our Premier Legue kit.
Last year the kit came out on July 18th, we were expecting a third kit for Europa League games, which I think we released after we'd already played Trencin.

Shirts appear more orange in games played July and August because players sweat more, not because the the shirts are a different shade to those used the rest of the season. Most noticable when a late substitute comes on. We didn't wear an old shirt in Trencin, but we didn't have UEFA compiant plain back versions at that point. The kit is at the club and ready to wear, but they'll hold off as long as they can hoping to attract a sponsor so their name is on it when released, but there is a possibility we'll start the season with sponsorless shirts. Also, our shirts are pinstriped, not full striped.
