A fair few clubs are interested if the media is to be believed. Last I read was Zenit were the front runners for him, and they can pay serious money
If we are serious about him being a target I just hope we don't wait around too long, and he ends up signing for someone else.
We've been linked to Clasie since Koeman took over, there were rumors in every paper that we would get him in January, and Koeman has already publicly said that he's a target this summer. So we're not just sitting at the other end of the bar, coyly flipping our hair and hoping to catch a glance. We've been staring right at them saucily for six months. At this point we're about five seconds away from licking our lips and mouthing "Take me." If Liverpool were doing this to one of our players, we'd be angrily accusing them of tapping us up. Not really sure what more we can do at this juncture to indicate our immense interest and desire to negotiate with player and club ASAP.
Best analogy of the transfer season ever. We should stick with this throughout the summer. Lovren must have been fingering himself on Brenda's front lawn by comparison, last summer.
It was probably him doing that that cost us Toby. He had to join Spurs or poke his eyes out with a hot poker.
I feel like a kid at 6am on Christmas Day insistent that it's time to open the presents. WHY HAVEN'T WE SIGNED HIM ALREADY?!
Feyenoord have left him out of today's friendly with Fortuna Dusseldorf due to what the club calls 'concrete, serious interest' from another club. They've also said he'll play no further part, while transfer talks progress. As far as I am aware, this is us - as will come as a huge surprise to you all, I'm sure. So, here we go... DTLW
Hope so. Whether Morgan leaves or not he is a much needed addition to the midfield. As far as I'm aware we've been the only team consistently linked with him, there were reports of interest from Lazio and Sunderland a little while back but nothing serious. Add to that Les's statement about a new signing soon and i think we have our next signing. Cheers DTLW
